the day after a snow day is sleepy, especially if it's a weekend. everyone's sleeping in, knowing that responsibilities are hard to find. but the people getting up in the early throes of the day are those who own dogs.
the local park here in concord is emerson park, and it's a popular spot for dogs. even though it isn't marked as a dog park specifically, many dogs end up there, and the openness makes it so that any high-energy dog can get a good amount of exercise in about a half-hour.
i wanted to capture the playful spirit of dogs in the park, whether they were enjoying playing with other dogs, begging for treats, or eating way too much snow. it's something very often only enjoyed by dog owners, but i think this rare look at dogs is a nice experience.
